About Jenice

The Personal Perspective Behind Every Story

Brazil is the most alive place I've ever been. The energy in Rio isn't something you can prepare for — it hits you the moment you step outside. The music coming from every corner, the colors of the favela murals against the green mountains, the way the beach culture in Copacabana is a lifestyle, not a tourist activity. Brazil doesn't just welcome you. It pulls you in.

Salvador changed my understanding of food and culture. The Afro-Brazilian traditions there are rich and deep — the acaraje, the candomble ceremonies, the music that has a different rhythm than anything in Rio. Brazil isn't one country — it's dozens of cultures layered on top of each other, and every region has its own soul.

I'm the one who finds the local churrascaria where the meat is better than the famous chains, the beach bar where the caipirinha is made with fresh fruit, and the street food vendor in Salvador that locals line up for. When Scott is navigating transport logistics and currency conversions, I'm building the cultural itinerary.

Scott handles the planning. I find the heartbeat. Scott knows the best flight routes and neighborhood safety tips. I know the restaurant where we'll have the feijoada that defines the trip. Together, we bring you Brazil from both the practical and the personal.
